If in step 10 you chose an immediate transmission, your fax machine begins dialling. If you chose a delayed command, the machine shows “Reserved” on the LCD, indicating that it has stored the command in memory and will complete it later.

Press COM-OPTIONSsix times and then press ENTER.

Use the numeric keypad to enter the appropriate sub-address.

 

In this example, we’ve entered 123456.

Use the numeric keypad to enter the password. In this example, we’ve

Enter the fax number either by pressing a one-touch key, entering a speed-

 

dial number or dialling from the numeric keypad. Do not press START.

What you do now depends upon when you want the polling to begin.

 

• To have it begin now, skip to step 10.

• To delay it, go on to step 8.

8 Press COM-OPTIONS, ENTER. The LCD shows:

Delayed

Enter Time: 15/17:05

9 Use the numeric keypad to enter the day and time when the polling should begin, then press ENTER.

10 Press START.
