Deleting an

Internal Directory

Entry

Use the following procedures to delete listings in the internal and external directories.

Use the following steps to delete an internal directory entry.

1.Do one of the following to open the internal directory:

•Select the View > Internal directory from the Directory window (Figure 5- 1 on page 67).

•Select the Internal tab in the Directory window (Figure 5-1 on page 67).

2.Select the directory entry that you want to delete from the Directory window.

3.Do one of the following:

•Select Edit > Delete.

•Right-click on an entry and select Delete from the shortcut menu.

The Edit Employee dialog box displays (Figure 5-7).

4.Click OK to delete the entry and exit the Edit Employee dialog box. The Edit Employee dialog box closes, deleting the entry from the directory.
