Creating a patch
You can assign a name to each partial for easier data management.
1.
Access the PARTIAL EDIT screen as described in “Making a partial settings” (p. 102).
2.
Press [MENU].
The MENU popup will appear.
3.
Select “Partial Name” and press [F5](Select).
The EDIT PARTIAL NAME popup (Screen Guide; p. 3) will appear.
4. Move the cursor to a character and use the VALUE dial or the numeric keys to input the
desired character.
5.
When you’ve finished entering the name, press the [F5](OK).
The name will be assigned to the partial
Here’s how to copy the settings of the current partial to a another pad.
1. Hold down the VELOCITY PADS for the partial you want to copy, and press [CLIPBOARD].
The CLIPBOARD indicator (red) will light.
2.
Hold down [CLIPBOARD] and press the VELOCITY PADS to which you want to copy the
partial.
The partial will be copied to the pad you specified.
Naming a partial
● For details on inputting characters, refer to “Inputting text” (p. 33).
Copying a partial
● The partial parameters will be copied to the clipboard. Since the patch parameters will not be copied, the data
may sound differently if you copy it to the pad of another part.
