Using the Range Tool to select a region

When you click the Range button, the mouse pointer will change to . When using the Range tool, the

initial portion of a note event needs to be located within the selected region. Otherwise, the note event is not

selected. When the initial portion of a note event lies within the selection box, the entire note event is selected.
