Step recording a Pattern track
Explanation
Step Time Specifies the length of the audio events you will input.
Dot button Adds a dot to the specified note value.
Step Time button Click this button you specify the length of the audio events you will input.
Duration Specifies the actual length of the audio event, as a percentage of the length you specified
for Step Time.
Velocity Specifies the strength of the audio event. Choose “Real” if you want the velocity of the note
to correspond to the strength with which you strike the velocity pad.
Explanation
Reverts the preceding input.
Connects (extends) the event at the current time to the next step.
Inputs a rest (silence).
If the Step Time parameter is set to Phrase or Meas, the dotted note setting is ignored.
Explanation

If you want to input the entire length of the pattern, set this to Pattern.
