Patterns
A “pattern” is another place (separate from a song) in which performance data can be recorded.
A pattern consists of the following tracks.
MIDI tracks (up to 64 tracks)
Audio track
Mute control track
Since a pattern can be called from the pattern track of a song, it’s convenient to use patterns to record phrases
that are repeated several times in your song.
Since patterns can also be called from the velocity pads, they can also be played in real time during a live
performance.
Yet another way to use patterns is as scratch pads for storing musical ideas that come to mind.
