Editing a song / pattern

The Quick Region function lets you quickly select an editing region for the current track.
1.
Access the SONG screen (Screen Guide; p. 8) or the PATTERN screen (Screen Guide; p. 91).
2.
Press [F5](Seq Edit).
3.
Move the cursor to a track that contains the events you want to region-select, making it the
current track.
4.
Move the time so that the current time intersects the events you want to region-select.
This determines the events that will be edited.
5.
Press [F4](Quick Rgn).
The events will be highlighted and selected.

You can’t execute Quick region on more than one track. However, after using Quick Region to select a region,
then press [F2](All Track Sel), you can select that region across all tracks.
Current track Explanation
MIDI track From the beginning to the end of the current measure or current beat of the current track will be
selected (i.e., one measure).
Audio track
Pattern track
If there is an audio / pattern event at the current time in the current track, that single audio /
pattern event will be selected. The length selected will be the single audio / pattern event located
at the current time. If there is no audio / pattern events at the current time in the current track,
from the beginning to the end of the current measure or current beat will be selected.
