1.
Access the SONG screen (Screen Guide; p. 8) or the PATTERN screen (Screen Guide; p. 91).
2.
Press [MENU].
The MENU popup will appear.
3.
Select “Add MIDI Tracks...” and press [F5](Select).
The ADD MIDI TRACKS popup (Screen Guide; p. 54) will appear.
4.
Make settings for the track(s) you want to add.
5.
Press [F5](Execute).
The specified track(s) will be added to the song / pattern.
Adding MIDI tracks for recording MIDI data
Parameter Explanation
Name The name of the track. Each track you add will be given a default track name. Press [F1](Name)
to assign a name (maximum 12 characters).
Output Assign Specify the sound generator (instruments part) to which the performance data recorded on the
track will be sent.
MIDI Specify the MIDI connector and channel on which performance data recorded on the track will
be sent.
Number of Tracks Specify the number of tracks with the above parameter settings that will be added to the song /
pattern.
● To delete a track, use the “DELETE TRACKS popup” (p. 56). The track you specify here will be deleted. For
details, refer to “Deleting tracks” (p. 169).
