Set the Tempo Track parameter On.

When this is On, the song will play back according to the tempo track.

Press [SONG].

The SONG screen (Screen Guide; p. 8) will appear.

Press [MENU].

The MENU popup will appear.

Select “Tempo Track” and press [F5](Select)

The TEMPO TRACK screen (Screen Guide; p. 52) will appear.

To add a new tempo or time signature, use CURSOR [ ] [ ] to move to the desired

location and press [F2](Create).

Tempo and time signature data will be added to the tempo list at the cursor location.

The inserted tempo and time signature data will have the same values as the preceding measure.

Use CURSOR [ ] [ ] to move the cursor to the value that you want to edit.

The Meas parameter specifies the measure at which the tempo or time signature will change, Time Signature

specifies the time signature, and BPM specifies the tempo setting.

Use the VALUE dial or [INC] [DEC] to edit the value.

f you simply want to modify the existing tempo and time signature data, skip step 7.

You can use [F4](Shift

)] / [F5](Shift

) to move the tempo and time signature data to the preceding or
following measure.

To delete the tempo and time signature data, press [F3](Delete).

You cannot change the tempo and time signature in the middle of a measure.

Tempo and time signature data always exists at the first measure.
By default, this will be the tempo and time signature that you specified when creating the song. You can modify
this data, but you cannot delete it.
