Applying a fade-in to the sample (Fade-in)
This operation modifies the data so that the volume will gradually increase between the Start Point and the
point you specify.
1.
Access the SAMPLE MANAGER screen as described in “Viewing a list of samples” (p. 121)
2.
Press [F5](Command).
The SELECT SAMPLE EDIT COMMAND popup (Screen Guide; p. 132) will appear.
3.
Select “Fade In” and press [F5](Select).
The FADE IN popup (Screen Guide; p. 138) will appear.
4.
Specify the value of the End Point parameter.
The fade-in will be applied between the Start Point of the sample and the End Point you specify here.
The volume will be 0 (zero) at the Start Point of the sample, and will gradually increase as you approach the
End Point parameter.
5.
Set the Replace parameter.
If this is on (
), the edited result will overwrite the original sample.
6.
Press [F5](Execute).
The fade-in will be applied to the sample.
