Here’s how to erase the selected performance data.
1.
Access the EVENT LIST screen as described in “Event list editing” (p. 181).
2.
Use CURSOR [ ] [ ] or the VALUE dial to move to the data you want to erase.
3.
Press [F2](Erase).
The selected event will be erased. The erased event is saved in temporary memory. You can use [F4](Paste)
to paste this saved event at the specified location (Moving an event).
Here’s how to copy the selected performance data to the clipboard (a temporary holding area).
1.
Access the EVENT LIST screen as described in “Event list editing” (p. 181).
2.
Use CURSOR [ ] [ ] or the VALUE dial to move to the data you want to copy.
3.
Press [F3](Copy).
The selected event stored in internal memory will be copied to the internal memory.
4.
Press [F4](Paste).
The PASTE EVENT popup (Screen Guide; p. 26) will appear.
5.
Specifies To parameter (copy-destination time) and then press [F5](Execute).
The copied event will be pasted to the To parameter.
Erasing performance data (Erase)
When you use CURSOR [ ] [ ] to move the current time, the note event located at that time will be
transmitted from the MIDI OUT connector.
If you want to select more than one event (i.e., a range of events), hold down [SHIFT] while you move the cursor.
Copying performance data (Copy & Paste)
When you use CURSOR [ ] [ ] to move the current time, the note event located at that time will be
transmitted from the MIDI OUT connector.
If you want to select more than one event (i.e., a range of events), hold down [SHIFT] while you move the cursor.
If you are not satisfied with the result of executing this command, press [UNDO/REDO] to return to the state
prior to execution (p. 166).
