Using the velocity padsQuick Start

Using the velocity pads

Try tapping the velocity pads to play a variety of different sounds.

Tap the velocity pads to play drum kits, piano, and other instrument sounds.

Press [INSTRUMENTS].

The INSTRUMENTS screen (Screen Guide; p. 114) will appear.

Use CURSOR [ ] [ ] to select the part to which you want to play.

The selected part number is highlighted. The highlighted part is called the current part.

Strike the velocity pads.

The patch assigned to the current part plays.
