Moving a file to another location (Move)
You can’t move a file or folder to a CD-R/RW disc.
You must never move a folder other than those described in “Folder structure” (p. 242). Such folders and files
are used by the MV-8800’s system. If you move them, the system will not operate correctly, and important data
will be lost.
If you want to move the file or folder to another drive in step 4, or if you want to create another folder and then
move the data into it, perform the following procedure first, and then return to step 4 and continue.
If you want to move the data to a different drive, press [F1](Select Drive). The SELECT DRIVE popup (Screen
Guide; p. 6) will appear. Use the cursor to select a drive, and press [F5](SELECT).
If you want to create another folder, press [F3](Make Folder). The EDIT FOLDER NAME popup (Screen Guide;
p. 3) will appear. Input a name for the folder and press [F5](OK).
