Configuring Macintosh AppleTalk printing
Before installing the printer driver for AppleTalk printing on Macintosh, check with your system administrator to make sure of the following:
- This equipment is connected to the network and turned on.
- AppleTalk is enabled. Ask your administrator if AppleTalk is enabled.
1 Click Apple menu and select [Chooser].
The Chooser dialog box appears.
2 Select the LaserWriter 8 icon (and select the AppleTalk zone if con- figured). Then select this equipment displayed in the list, and click [Create].
The Select a PostScript Printer Description File dialog box appears.
