3.3.5 Noise reduction circuits

Noise reduction c ircuits are built in, allowing im plementation of the following features.
(1) Reduced drivability for high-frequency oscillator circ uit
(2) Reduced driv ability for low-fr equency oscilla tor circuit
(3) Single driv e for high-frequenc y oscillator circuit
(4) SFR protecti on of register contents
These are set in EMCCR0 to EMCCR2 registers.
(1) Reduced drivability for high-frequ ency oscillator circuit
(Purpose)
Reduces noise and p ow er for oscillator when a resonator is used.

(Setting method)
The drivability of the oscillator is reduced by writing”0” to EMCCR0<DRVOSCH>
register. By reset, <DR VOSCH> is initializ ed to “1” and the oscillator starts oscillat ion
by normal-drivabilit y when the power-supply is on.
Note: This function (EMCCR0<DRVODCH>= “0”) is available to use in case fOSCH = 6 to 10MHz condition.
