			type			The following types are available for the record format:
						•	BIN (binary)
						•	DEC (decimal)
						• PACK (packed with no sign)
						• PKSG (packed with sign)

	Specifies the length of the longest record.

		value		Specifies in bytes the length of the longest logical record.
					The value is an integer from 12 to 12288 for the DP EPS.

RECORD LENGTH	• When you change the LINE DATA parameter to a value
parameter: points	greater than the default value, you must also change the
to note	RECORD LENGTH parameter accordingly. Otherwise, the
	data is truncated to the length that was specified in the initial
	JDL.
