Using logical processing

ROFFSET TEST

Specifies the test expression for offsetting pages in the stacker bin.

Syntax ROFFSET TEST = testexp

	Specifies the criteria test that, if satisfied, causes the output to be offset in the
	stacker tray.
	(Refer to “Coding a test expression,” earlier in this chapter, for the format and
	syntax of a testexp.)

		ROFFSET command: points to note

•The ROFFSET feature prints the record that satisfies the test expression according to the normal job parameters.

•If ROFFSET is specified for an uncollated job, an offset occurs on only the first copy of the offset page.

•If OUTPUT OFFSET=FIRST (or ALL) was specified, and the ROFFSET criteria is satisfied on the first page of a report, the normal offset from the preceding report occurs.

•If a testexp is satisfied in duplex mode, the logical page on which the record occurs is the first logical page of a new sheet.

If this page falls on the back side of a two-sided sheet, the page is moved to the front of the next sheet, creating a blank back side.

•If segments are specified, the ROFFSET command is ignored.
