BGP and BGP4+ Commands

show ip bgp summary (BGP)

Use this command to display a summary of a BGP neighbor status within an IPv4 environment. Use the show bgp ipv6 summary (BGP4+) command to display a summary of BGP4+ neighbors.

For information on output options, see “Controlling “show” Command Output” on page 3.6.

Syntax show ip bgp summary

Syntax [VRF] show ip bgp [globalvrf <vrf-name>] summary

Parameter	Description
global	When VRF-Lite is configured, apply the command to the global routing
	and forwarding table.
vrf	Apply the command to the specified VRF instance.
<vrf-name>	The name of the VRF instance.

Mode User Exec and Privileged Exec
