Understanding the Automated Action Window

This window contains the following entries:
You perform the following tasks from this window:

Creating an Automated Action

To create an automated action:
Note View Permission Report (Common Services > Server > Reports) to check if you have the required
privileges to perform this task.
Step 1 Select Resource Manager Essentials > Tools > Change Audit > Automated Action.
The Automated Action dialog box appears.
Step 2 Click Create.
The Define Automated Action dialog box appears.
Field Description
Name Name of the automated action.
Status Status of the automated action—Enabled, or disabled.
Type Type of automated action—Email, Script or Trap.
Tasks Description

Enabling and Disabling an

This button gets activated only after selecting an automated
action.
