Ozone production

This product generates no appreciable ozone gas (O3).

Power consumption

Power usage drops significantly while in sleep mode, which saves natural resources and saves money without affecting the high performance of this product. This product qualifies for ENERGY STAR® (Version 3.0), which is a voluntary program to encourage the development of energy-efficient office products.

Paper use

This product's duplex feature (two-sided printing); see Print on both sides of the paper and N-up printing [multiple pages printed on one page] capability can reduce paper usage and the resulting demands on natural resources.

Plastics

Plastic parts over 25 grams are marked according to international standards that enhance the ability to identify plastics for recycling purposes at the end of the product’s life.

HP is committed to providing inventive, high-quality products and services that are environmentally sound, from product design and manufacturing to distribution, operation and recycling processes. Since this cartridge is being recycled and used in new materials, it will not be returned to you. An easy-to-use and free takeback program is available in over 35 countries/regions. Multi-lingual program information and instructions are included in every new HP LaserJet print cartridge and supplies package.
