Main menu - Settings

Setting the remote control code

After calling up the menu you will see the following display:

You can use this function to allow you to operate several receivers (e.g. four UFS 922 units) using the same remote control. You can assign each receiver its own remote control code. This pre-supposes that the receiver was supplied with the RC 670 remote control (e.g. UFS 922) or with the RC 660 remote control (e.g. UFS 910).

You can now use the remote control for your receiver to set a new remote control code (the remote control code 1 is set as standard). Simultaneously press buttons:

-+ + for remote control code 1

-+ + 2for remote control code 2

-+ + 3for remote control code 3

-+ + 4for remote control code 4

Then press the button. If the receiver display does not close down, the receiver and the remote control are not set to the same remote control code. Check your settings again.

To set the remote control in future for whatever remote control code is required, proceed as follows:

-+ for remote control code 1

-+ 2for remote control code 2

-+ 3for remote control code 3

-+ 4for remote control code 4

If you have a further Kathrein receiver in use that was supplied with the RC 660 remote control, you can use the UFS 922 remote control to operate that other receiver also. On the UFS 922 remote control, the codes for remotely controlling the RC 660 begin with “5”:

+ = remote control code 1 for the RC 660, + 6= remote control code 2 for the RC 660,

+ 7= remote control code 3 for the RC 660 and + 8= remote control code 4 for the RC 660
