Information on direct decryption using timers (recordings on encrypted channels):

The “Decrypt” field only appears when recording encrypted channels. If you want to make the recording unencrypted,

use the  buttons to select “Yes”; if you want the recording to be made encrypted on the hard disk, select the “No” option. When doing this, note the following:

If two timers are set for encrypted channels, both with decryption set to “On”, and the recording times overlap, it can happen that the first timer will record decrypted and the second timer will record encrypted. More details can be found under “Mainmenu”, “Interfaces”, “Common Interface”.

Setting the storage location for recordings

As described in the “Recording archive” chapter, it is possible to create folders for your recordings and to store them in these folders. If folders have already been created for recordings, you have the option of specifying a folder as the destination when scheduling recordings in the EPG. It makes no difference which recording mode you choose after selecting the folder (e.g. for a series recording, all subsequent recordings of the programme will be stored in the folder you have selected). The procedure is as follows:

In the recording settings, press the  buttons to select the “Target” field and then press the

button. The following display appears (example):

Now use the  buttons to select the desired folder or select “To Recording Archive record” and then press the

button.
