General multimedia information (UFS 922)
In addition to the familiar FTP server functionality from software version 1.01 for transferring data (recordings and pictures) via the network, from software version 1.02 the UFS 922 provides more extensive network functions.
oUPnP server functionality (e.g. streaming of UFS 922 recordings on external devices)
o MP3 playback
oJPEG display
oPlayback of external recordings (UFS 922, 910, 902, 822, 821)
oXVID playback
The screens below show a possible network configuration for streaming and playing back media files. The UFS 922 automatically detects the connected devices/servers after successful initialisation and displays them as follows in the Media Centre.

The UPnP server generated by the UFS 922 (setting made under “Applications” in main menu). It contains the data from the internal hard disk (media and recording archive) and the data from the connected USB storage media.
