To select the document type before copying

1Position the document(s) to be copied. (Refer to page 4-1 for more details.)

2Select the desired color mode. (Refer to page 2-20 for more details.)

3Make sure that the Basic screen is displayed, and then touch [Original/ Density].

4Select the Original Image Type that best describes your document.

5Specify any other necessary settings.

m Paper (Refer to page 5-4 for more details.) m Zoom (Refer to page 5-14 for more details.) m Density (Refer to page 5-20 for more details.)

6Using the keypad, enter the number of copies you wish to make, and then press the [Start] key.
