Multiline Interface Messages

This appendix lists the multiline interface messages and describes the mnemonics and messages

that correspond to the interface functions. These functions include initializing the bus,

addressing and unaddressing devices, and setting device modes for local or remote programming.

The multiline interface messages are IEEE 488-defined commands that are sent and received

with ATN TRUE.

For more information on these messages, refer to the ANSI/IEEE Std 488-1978, IEEE Standard

Digital Interface for Programmable Instrumentation.
