Configuration and Installation

This chapter describes the steps needed to configure and install the GPIB-1014 hardware.

Configuration

Before installing the GPIB-1014 in the VMEbus backplane, the following options must be

configured with hardware jumpers that are located on the GPIB-1014 interface board:

• Access Mode (jumper W2)

• Base Address (jumper block W1)

• DMA Address Modifier (AM) Code Output (jumpers W3, W4, and W5)
