Press the TRACK NO. AUTO/MANUAL button so that the WRITE (MANUAL) indicator is not lit but that the AUTO TRACK indicator lights.

÷During recording, the track number is automatically renewed by de- tecting the track changes based on the input musical signal and digi- tal sub-code signal.

÷If the space between tracks is extremely short, the track number may not be advanced.

CAUTION

÷When digitally recording DAT and DCC sources, be sure to start recording on the CD-R after pausing the source at the beginning of a track (start ID, etc.).

÷In case of analog-source recording, if a track contains a sec- tion where the level is too low to be sensed on the level meter, track numbers may sometimes be written incor- rectly.

To prevent this, we recommend the use of the manual writ- ing function with such a recording.

÷Track numbers may sometimes be written incorrectly when recording the digital input of satellite broadcasting. In this case, we recommend the use of the manual writing func- tion.
