Each of the 4 1 and ¡ ¢ buttons of the main unit provides two functions, as a track search button and manual search button.

Les touches 4 1 et ¡ ¢ de l’appareil remplissent deux fonctions: recherche d’une plage musicale, recherche manuelle d’un passage musical.

Searching an adjacent track (Track search) A

Press the track search button (4 or ¢).

bTo search the previous track

cTo search the next track

÷Pressing ¡ ¢ (or ¢) during playback or when playback is paused or stopped skips the played position to the beginning of the next track. To skip to a track located after the next track, press ¡ ¢ (or ¢) for the required number of times. When programmed playback is activated, pressing ¡ ¢ (or ¢) skips to the next track in the program.

÷Pressing 4 1 (or 4) skips the played position to the beginning of the current track. To skip to a track located before the current track, press 4 1 (or 4) for the required number of times. When programmed play- back is activated, pressing 4 1 (or 4) skips to the previous track in the program.

Searching the desired point (Manual search) B

Press and hold the manual search button (1 or ¡).

÷Pressing and holding ¡ ¢ (or ¡) during playback or when playback is paused moves the played position in the forward direction at a high speed. When a disc has been searched until the end, “END” is displayed and the unit enters the pause mode, which can be released by pressing 4 1 (or 1).

÷Pressing and holding 4 1 (or 1) moves the played position in the reverse direction at a high speed. When a disc has been searched in the reverse direction until the beginning, the unit enters play mode.

÷During programmed playback, only the current track being played can be searched in the forward or reverse direction. When the current track has been searched in the forward direction until the end, the unit enters pause mode at the position immediately before the next track; press the play (3), pause (8) or 4 1 (or 1) button to release the pause mode. When the current track has been searched in the reverse direction until the beginning, programmed playback restarts from the position immedi- ately before returning to the previous track.

÷Si vous appuyez sur la touche ¡ ¢ (ou ¢) pendant la lecture, lors d’une pause ou d’un arrêt de la lecture, le capteur se place au début de la plage suivante. Pour localiser le début d’une plage placée après la suivante, appuyez sur la touche ¡ ¢ (ou ¢) autant de fois que nécessaire. Pendant la lecture programmée, une pression sur la touche ¡ ¢ (ou ¢) fait sauter au début de la plage suivante dans l’ordre du programme.

÷Une poussée sur la touche 4 1 (ou 4), lfait passer au début de la plage en cours de lecture. Pour sauter à une plage qui précède celle en cours de lecture, appuyez sur la touche 4 1 (ou 4) autant de fois que nécessaire. Pendant la lecture programmée, une pression sur la touche 4 1 (ou 4) fait sauter au début de la plage précédante dans l’ordre du programme.

Maintenez la pression d’un doigt sur la touche de recherche manuelle (1 ou ¡).

bRecherche vers le début du disque

÷Si vous maintenez la pression sur la touche ¡ ¢ (ou ¡) pendant la lecture ou pendant une pause de lecture, le capteur se déplace rapidement vers l’avant.

Lorsque le capteur a atteint la fin du disque, l’indication “END” s’affiche et l’appareil marque une pause que vous pouvez libérer en appuyant sur la touche 4 1 (ou 1).

÷Si vous maintenez la pression d’un doigt sur la touche 4 1 (ou 1), le capteur se déplace rapidement vers le début du disque. Lorsque le début du disque est atteint, sa lecture commence aussitôt.

÷Pendant la lecture programmée, seule la plage musicale en cours de lecture peut faire l’objet d’une recherche dans un sens ou dans l’autre. Lorsque la fin de la plage musicale est atteinte, l’appareil marque une pause immédiatement avant le début de la plage musicale qui suit; appuyez sur la touche de lecture (3) ou de pause (8) ou encore sur la touche 4 1 (ou 1) pour libérer la pause. Lorsque le début de la plage musicale est atteinte, la lecture programm é e reprend immédiatement avant la plage musicale précédente dans l’ordre du programme.
