RECORDING (1) – AUTOMATIC DIGITAL- SOURCE SYNCHRO RECORDING (1-TRACK RECORDING)

This function is convenient for track-by-track edited recording of a CD, DAT, MD and/or DCC.

The following procedure allows you to perform automatic digital-source synchro recording.

÷Connect the digital input/output properly as indicated (on page 20).

Ce mode convient plus particulièrement à la réalisation de montages sonores à partir de CD, DAT, MD ou DCC.

Employez la méthode ci-dessous pour effectuer l’enregis- trement automatique et synchronisé d’un signal numérique.

÷Assurez-vous que les prises d’entrée et de sortie des signaux numériques ont été correctement reliées, comme il est dit à la page 20.

1 Load a CD-R or CD-RW disc containing a record- able space. For a disc loading, refer p. 38

÷After loading the disc, check that the CD-R or CD-RW indicator stops blinking and starts to light steadily.

In case it does not light steadily or a character display (such as “Pro DISC”) appears, refer to page 108.

2 Select the input to be recorded with the INPUT SELECTOR.

÷Select COAXIAL or OPTICAL.

The ANALOG input cannot be recorded with this function.

3 Ensure that the source player is not playing (in stop or pause mode). (This function cannot be activated if the source is being played.)

÷Confirm the track to be recorded before recording.

4 Press the DIGITAL SYNCHRO button.

÷Wait until the SYNC indicator blinks.

÷Do not start the playback of the source player until the SYNC indicator starts to blink.

5 Start playing the source player.

÷This unit starts recording automatically.

÷When the SYNC indicator is blinking (1-track synchro recording standby), or during 1-track synchro recording, if the input signal is interrupted or the source is switched to a source for which auto synchro recording is not possible, the 1-track synchro recording mode will be canceled and the unit will enter the record-pause mode.

1 Mettez en place un CD-R ou un CD-RW non complètement utilisé. A propos de la mise en place du disque, reportez-vous à la page 38.

÷Après la mise en place du disque, assurez-vous que le témoin CD-R ou CR-RW ne clignote plus mais qu’il est éclairé.

Si ce témoin n’est pas éclairé, ou encore si une indication telle que “Pro DISC” est affichée, reportez-vous à la page 110.

2 Au moyen du sélecteur INPUT SELECTOR, choisissez la nature de la source.

÷Choisissez COAXIAL ou OPTICAL.

Le signal présent sur l’entrée ANALOG ne peut pas être enregistré avec ce mode de fonctionnement.

3 Assurez-vous que l’appareil source ne procède pas à la lecture (il doit être à l’arrêt ou en pause). (La commande de ce mode de fonctionnement suppose que la source ne procède pas à la lecture.)

÷Vérifiez le numéro de la plage musicale à enregistrer.

4 Appuyez sur la touche DIGITAL SYNCHRO.

÷Attendez que le témoin SYNC clignote.

÷Ne commandez pas la lecture sur l’appareil source aussi longtemps que le témoin SYNC ne clignote pas.

5 Commandez la lecture sur l’appareil source.

÷L’enregistrement débute automatiquement sur cet appareil-ci.

÷Si le témoin SYNC clignote (mise en attente d’enregistrement synchronisé d’une plage) ou pendant un enregistrement synchronisé d’une plage, si le signal d’entrée est interrompu ou si vous passez à une autre source pour laquelle l’enregistrement synchronisé automatique n’est pas possible, le mode d’enregistrement synchronisé d’une plage sera annulé et l’appareil repassera au mode de pause à l’enregistrement.
