❒Please refer to the inside of the front cover of this manual to con- firm which printer (Type 1 Printer or Type 2 Printer) you have.

❒If you set the custom sized paper, you should specify the paper size using the printer driver. Also, use the operation panel to set the cus- tom size setting.

A Open the bypass tray.

❒If you load paper of A4 L, 81/2" × 11" L(Letter) or larger, slide

B Slide the side guides outwards, and load paper until it stops with the print side down.

C Adjust the side guides to the pa- per width.
