Replacing the Paper Feed Roller

RCAUTION:

•When lifting the machine, use the inset grips on both sides of the machine. Otherwise, the ma- chine might fall and cause per- sonal injury.

A Move the printer to the edge of a sturdy and stable table or desk.

Important

❒Do not put the printer on an un- stable or tilted surface.

Note

❒If the optional paper feed unit is equipped with your printer, do not move the printer and the unit together as they are not se- curely attached.

B When looking inside where the paper tray was installed, you can see the paper feed roller. While pinching the stopper inside the roller with fingers (A), slide it to

the left, so that the paper feed roller can be released (B).

C Set the new paper feed roller. With the round part of the roller facing up (A), insert the roller into the shaft until the roller clicks into position (B).

D Leave the paper tray pulled out and go to P.10 “Replacing the Transfer Roller”.
