Installing Options

Important

❒The memory unit can be damaged by small amount of static electrici- ty. Before touching it, touch some- thing metal to remove static electricity from you.

❒To make the printer recognize the

2	installed option, you should set up
	the option with the printer driver.

❒This printer has one slot for a SIMM, and you can install one SIMM at a time.

A Be sure to check the following points:

•The printer's power switch is turned off.

•The power cord is unplugged from the wall outlet.
