Using the Mixer

Adjusting the volume balance of each part

Here’s how to adjust the volume of each audio track and instrument part. You can boost the volume for tracks
that you want to stand out, and reduce the volume of tracks that need to stay in the background.
1.
Press [MIXER].
The MIXER screen will appear.
2.
Use CURSOR [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] to move the cursor to the Level of the part you want to
adjust.
The part at which the cursor is located is called the “current part.” Now you can adjust the Level parameter of
that part.
3.
Turn the VALUE dial or use [DEC] [INC] to adjust the value.
The value of the Level parameter will change, affecting the volume of that part. It will be easier to adjust the
balance effectively if you make adjustments while your song is playing back.
You can press the function buttons to switch the mixer you’re adjusting.
