8.3Test Screen

Pressing “t” (Test command) in the SRU port Main Screen will bring up the Test Screen shown in Figure 8-4.From this screen, you can create test situations between SRU ports, or between a single port and data test equipment at a remote site.

The bottom highlighted line of the Test Screen shows some actions you can perform from this screen. To perform an action, just press the uppercase key for the desired choice. Table 8-4lists these actions, and Table 8-5lists the settings in the Test Screen, along with their possible and default values. These settings are also described in the following paragraphs.
