EER THRHD

The Excessive Error Rate (EER) Threshold (THRHD) parameter setting defines an error rate threshold which, when exceeded, causes an alarm to be declared. If the number of errors exceeds this threshold, an E will be placed in the Status Column of the port’s Performance Monitoring Screen. The available options are from 10e-4(one error in 10,000 bits) to 10e-9(one error in 1,000,000,000 bits), or off. Choose off if you do not want to report alarms for excessive error rates.
