Caution

Clearing the map database will cause device addresses to change unpredictably. Use this command only when no host systems are expecting devices to remain at their current addresses. The SNC 5100 must be rebooted after executing this command.

Occasionally, it may be necessary to eliminate the Persistent Device Map database entirely, allowing the existing devices to have new addresses assigned.
