SNC 5100

hostNameSet

The hostNameSet command changes the network name of the SNC 5100. The shell prompt will be set to the new host name.

hostShow

The hostShow command displays the IP address and alias (if any) of the unit processing the hostShow command, the localhost and the timeserver host.

hostTypeShow

The hostTypeShow command displays the host type setting for each Fibre Channel. The possible host types are AIX, AS400, Gateway, FCR-2,HP-UX,

Linux, NT (includes Windows 2000), Netware, Generic, Solaris, Autosense/NT, or Dell PV-136T-FC.

FC 2: Type 1 – solaris value = 0 = 0x0 SN60023 >

The output in the example could be the result of the user’s choosing either “Linux” or “Solaris” for the host attached to FC2.

icmpstatShow

The icmpstatShow command displays ICMP statistics for the Ethernet
