TheUSB connec tor is used t o connect the MicroFlex e100toaPC runningMintWorkBench. The

MicroFlex e100 is a self-powered, USB 1.1 (12Mbps) compatible device. Ifit is connected to a

slowerUS B1.0 host PC or hub, communication speed will be limited to the USB1.0 specific ation

(1.5Mbps). If it is connected to a faster USB2.0 (480Mbps) host PC orhub, c ommunication

speedwill r emain at the USB1.1 specification of the MicroFlex e100.

Ideally,the Mic roFlex e100 should be connected directly to a USB port on the host PC. If it is

connected to a hub shared by other USB devic es, communication could be affected by the

activity of the other devices. A 2m (6.5 ft) standard U SB cable is supplied. The maximum

recommendedc able length is 5m (16.4 ft).
