Configure one PVC between the VDM port and the video source port, either local or remote, using the SET PVC command:

￿

local_slot.port pvc_id remote_slot.port remote_hub_number

path_type local_vpi

The slot and port number for a local end of the PVC.

This allows you to define multiple PVCs per port.

The slot and port number for the other end of the PVC.

The hub number (13th byte of the ATM address) of the other hub. Can match the local hub number for local PVCs.

Specifies the type of virtual path connection.

The vp.vc value for the local end of the PVC. See Table 5 for allowable values.

remote_vpi

The vp.vc value for the other end of the PVC. See

Table 5 for allowable values.

bw_alloc

The bandwidth allocation algorithm to be used:

BEST_EFFORT

RESERVED_BANDWIDTH

bandwidth

The amount of bandwidth to allocate, if bw_alloc has

been set to RESERVED_BANDWIDTH.
