dynamicRouting-LanEmulationServer (3)

}

ACCESS read-write STATUS mandatory

DESCRIPTION

This variable controls the configuration of the functions in the control point.

This attribute cannot be set in the 8285, when read, on a 8285 functionsConfiguration is always equal to dynamicRouting-LanEmulationServer.

When this attribute is set, the configuration of the functions is saved in the non volatile memory and the atm subsystem is automatically reset.

When dynamicRouting-noLanEmulationServer is set

the dynamic routing function is active. The selection of the routes when a connection is established

will be automatic through the SSI ports.

The LAN emulation servers cannot be started if functionsConfiguration is equal to dynamicRouting-noLanEmulationServer.

When staticRouting-LanEmulationServer is set, no automatic route selection accross the SSI ports will be performed by the atm-subsystem.

The routing will be performed only through the defined static routes.

The ports cannot be set with the atm access equal to SSI. All the ports previously configured as SSI ports are

changed to UNI, when the atm-subsystem is restarts after the change of functionsConfiguration into staticRouting-LanEmulationServer. dynamicRouting-LanEmulationServer cannot be set on an 8260.″
