Introduction

You can select the Product activity log option from the Start a Service Tool display. It allows you to display or print system, Licensed Internal Code, software components, subsystem, and I/O device data that has been logged. It also provides data summaries, allows data to be sorted, displays reference code descriptions, and allows you to work with removable media statistics.

Use the options and function keys to view the log online. Function keys, such as the Alternate view key, allow you to page through the various log fields. For more information on the product activity log options and function keys, see “Options and function keys” on page 102. If a printer is available, you can create a printout of the product activity log (see Figure 48 on page 110).
