Adjusting the Print Density (Density Settings)

1In the Basic screen, touch [Density].

The Density screen appears.

2Select the desired Density setting.

–Each time [Light] or [Dark] is touched, the density is lightened or darkened by one level.

–To select the middle of the nine levels, touch [Std.].

–Touch [Auto] to automatically adjust the level of the density accord- ing to the document being copied.

3Touch [OK].
