12.5Adjusting the Printer

Adjusting the Starting Print Position at the Leading Edge Position

The starting print position at the leading edge of each type of paper (with re- spect to the paper feed direction) can be adjusted.

Adjustments can be specified for each paper type.

0The starting print position is adjusted during manufacturing of the ma- chine. Normally, this position will not need to be adjusted.

1Display the Administrator Setting screen.

2Touch [1 System Setting].

The System Setting screen appears.

3Touch [7 Expert Adjustment].

The Expert Adjustment screen appears.

4Touch [3 Printer Adjustment].

The Printer Adjustment screen appears.

5Touch [1 Leading Edge Adjustment].

The Leading Edge Adjustment screen appears.

6Touch the button for the paper type to be set.

7Touch [Test Copy].

The Test Copy screen appears.
