Before Making Copies

4Load paper of the new size, and then slide the lateral guide to fit the size of the paper.

–Move the lateral

guide while holding the release button pressed. When the button is released, the guide is locked in place.

–When loading tab paper, position the side with the tab facing the trailing- edge guide.

5Fully push in the paper tray.

–If non-standard-sized paper, thick paper, tab paper, or special pa- per was loaded, specify the settings for the loaded paper in the Pa- per Type screen. Refer to “Specifying Paper Settings for Paper Trays” on page 7-22.
