Installing the Flash Memory Card

A PCMCIA Flash memory card (Figure 3-1) provides storage capability for the nonvolatile file system (NVFS) in the AN/DC and ANH-8/DC. When you remove a formatted memory card, the NVFS automatically removes access to the card. When you insert and format a card or insert an already formatted card, the NVFS automatically provides access.
