snmp host

This command specifies the recipient of a Simple Network Management Protocol notification operation. Use the no form to remove the specified host.

Syntax

snmp host host-addr community-string [version {1 2c}] no snmp host host-addr

host-addr- Internet address of the host (the targeted recipient). (Maximum host addresses: 5 trap destination IP address entries)

community-string- Password-like community string sent with the notification operation. Although you can set this string using the snmp host command by itself, we recommend that you define this string using the snmp community command prior to using the snmp host command. (Maximum length: 32 characters)

version - Specifies whether to send notifications as SNMP v1 or v2c traps.
