Selecting the current or default symbol set
Yourprintercan use eitherthe primaryor the secondaryfont as its current font. And that current font has its current symbol set. Your printer also remembemits defaultfontand symbolset, whichare CourierwithRoman-
8(unlessyou’vechangedtheir initialparametervalues throughthe front panelmenu).
The followingcommandlets you selectone of thosesymbolsets for your primaryfont.

Similarly,youcan selecteitherthedefaultor thecurrentsymbolsetforyour secondaryfont. You also may want to use the same symbolset for both primaryand secondaryfonts.
