Pitch defineshow many charactersper inch you want for a monospaced- pitchfont.YourStarLascrPrinter8‘sinternalmonospaccd-pitchfontshave settingsof 10, 12 or 16.66charactersper inch. Cartridgeor downloaded fontswith monospaccdpitchesoftenhaveothersettingsfor charactersper inch.

To selectthe pitch you want for the primaryfont, send this command:

wherefor nyouputinhowmanycharactersperinchyouwant.Forexample, <ESC>(s 12 H will pack twelvecharactersinto each inch.

The correspondingpitch commandfor the secondaryfont is:
