The Paper Size command
The Paper Size supersetcommandlets youchangethe papersize in which the Star LascrPrinter8 prints.
This is the commandthat defines what size the Star LaserPrintcr8 will accept. You issue the Paper Size command with the followingEscape sequence:
<ESC> [ S n
For the value of n you entera numberfrom this table:

This command controls the size that the printer should use when nexl feeding from the selected paper feeder. If the printer does not have the requestedsize, the front panel will display a message instructingyou to insertthe requestedpaper/envelope.If the operatoroverridesthat request, the requestedsize is ignoredand the size of the currentcassetteis used.
If youhavepreviouslyset the cassetteselectionto “automatic”,and one of the casscttcscontainsthe papersize requestedin the commandabove,that papcrcasscttcwillautomaticallybeselected,andpaperfeedwillcommence fromthere.Thelampsonthe frontpanelwillchangeafterthiscommandhas been proccsscd,to showyou whatcasscttchas been selected.
