Route Link Traffic Estimation
Routing information for all source-destination pairs needs to be recorded as
part of the network assessment. This is done using the tool, an
example of the output is shown below.
The program can be used to check if routing in the intranet is symmetric
or not for each of the source-destination pairs. Use the loose source routing option1,
as shown in the following command syntax:
The program identifies the intranet links that transmit ITG
traffic. For example, if tracer oute of four site pairs yield the results shown in
Table 17, then the load of ITG traffic per link can be computed as shown in
Table 18:
